As Vice President and General Manager at TiVo, Tom leads the company’s North America service provider business initiatives and is responsible for developing distribution relationships with leading service providers. In this role, Tom has spearheaded TiVo’s development of operator products and the development of valuable partnerships with service providers. Tom joined TiVo in 2009 to transform TiVo’s success in the retail market into a compelling offering through the service provider channel; including leading TiVo’s creation of market leading multi-room DVR and multi-screen products.
Prior to joining TiVo, Tom served as Director of Software Marketing at Motorola, where he was responsible for product management, product marketing and business development for Motorola’s enterprise software offerings. Tom brings more than 15 years of product management experience as well as electronic, digital media, wireless and communication software marketing experience to TiVo.
He holds an MBA from the Haas School of Business at the University of California at Berkeley, and a BS in Mechanical Engineering from the University of California at Davis.
