Paul Presburger is Chief Executive Officer of Pantelion Films and Pantaya and a Co-founder of Globalgate Entertainment. He brings a rich and successful history of delivering films, television programming and other content to niche audiences across Europe, Asia, Latin America and the U.S. Hispanic market. Pantelion, a joint venture between Lionsgate and Grupo Televisa, is the first major Latino Hollywood studio in the U.S. Launched in 2010, Pantelion releases include the breakout hit INSTRUCTIONS NOT INCLUDED starring Eugenio Derbez, which became the highest-grossing Spanish-language film ever released in the U.S.; UN GALLO CON MUCHOS HUEVOS, the highest grossing Spanish language animated feature of all time in the U.S.; and the box-office success NO MANCHES FRIDA, the highest grossing Spanish language comedy in the States as well. Mr. Presburger also heads the first Pantaya, the first premium U.S. Spanish language streaming service that launched in August 2017. This premium subscription video-on-demand service is a joint venture of Lionsgate and Hemisphere Media and will focus on the U.S. Latino market with hit movies, concerts, comedy specials and other programming. In 2016, Mr. Presburger also helped form Globalgate to identify premium intellectual property for local-language film production around the world. The consortium includes top companies such as Televisa (Latin America), Gaumont (France), Nordisk (Scandinavia), Tobis (Germany), Lotte (Korea) and Kadokawa (Japan), TME (Turkey) and Belga (Belgium). Mr. Presburger began his career in 1987 practicing law in Los Angeles. He has an MBA from INSEAD in France, a JD from the University of Pennsylvania and a BA from the University of California, Los Angeles.
