SVP Commercial EMEA and CALA | Vubiquity
Nick Ruczaj has worked in the digital video and IPTV space for more than twenty years, holding leadership roles at Vubiquity, Move Networks, Inuk Networks and 3Com.
Nick founded a triple-play platform in the UK called Freewire, which provided broadband, phone and IPTV services to students living in university halls of residence. He grew this business to a footprint of over 160,000 rooms before selling the company to Inuk Networks (in turn acquired by Move Networks, and then EchoStar). This brought Nick into the telco and platform TV space, helping to develop video strategies for International operators including Cable & Wireless, Al Jazeera, Digiturk and D-Smart.
Currently, Nick holds the position of SVP Commercial for Vubiquity – the leading global provider of premium content services - overseeing the company’s business across EMEA and CALA.
Nick also serves on the Board of On Demand Deutschland, a joint-venture between Vubiquity and Tele München Group.
Nick has a BA (Hons) degree in Political Philosophy from the University of York.
